A longtime resident of Bucks County, PA, Anthony Thompson, ASMA, ISMP is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of West Florida. Working in oil, Tony paints local landscapes, contemporary coastal scenes, and 19th and early 20th century maritime suibjects. His work is influenced by his native Bucks County, PA, his sailing experience in the Caribbean and Delaware Bay and his world travel experiences while enjoying a prior career in aviation.

Thompson holds signature status in both the International Society of Marine Artists and the International Society of Marine Painters. Tony's work has been exhibited at the Copley Society, the Pennsylvania State Museum and in Maritime Museums throughout the country and also in ASMA national and regional exhibitions. His paintings are included in the public collections of the Bucks County Conservancy, Immaculata University, the U.S. Coast Guard and many other private and corporate collections.

Anthony Thompson is an annual contributor to the Maritime Gallery at Mystic Seaport and the International and Modern Marine Masters exhibits. He is a winner of the prestigious Thomas Hoyne Award. Tony's artistic career has been featured in the Bucks County Town and Country Living Magazine and his work is included in A Gallery of Marine Art by Rockport Publishing.
